We Found Them!

Mason and I walk by the park almost everyday, it has always been vacant but yesterday there were kids there!! Mason loved swinging and watching all the activity going on around him. He looks so little in the swing.

Wet Weather

Here is Mason modeling his raincoat. We sure are envious of Wisconsin's warm sunshine!

BBQ at Lake Crescent

Keith's work had a BBQ at a lake near Port Angeles on Saturday. It rained though, so not as many people came as were expected. Still it was nice to meet some of the guys he will be working with and the lake was beautiful. I can't wait to go back on a sunny day.

The Best Daddy

Keith was finally able to come home from various deployments and got to stay home for 6 days in a row!! Mason was really excited to have his Daddy home especially for his first official Father's Day.

Mason had lots of stories to tell Keith, all of which included the necessary bubble blowing.
Mason is so lucky to have such a wonderful Daddy!!
Happy Father's Day!

The Best Type of Laundry

After a long day of painting his room, Mason's room was too stinky and he had to sleep in the laundry basket in our room. This will be the last time he can sleep in this make-shift crib, as his feet and head touch both ends now.

Daddy's Socks

4 Month Picture

We can't believe how big he's gotten!!

New Toy

Mason loves his new jumper/activity center. He isn't quite big enough to spin around in the seat yet, but he enjoys bouncing and playing with all the toys.

Big Boy Food

Mason has finally got a spoon in his mouth! He did a really good job for the first time with a baby spoon. There was a little cry each time the spoon left his mouth while we were feeding him rice cereal. This little guy is a "good eater" like his daddy.

Where are all the Kids?

Mason and I went to the park for a picnic today thinking that it would be a great place to meet other kids and parents. No such luck- we were the only people in the entire park. Mason did enjoy waching the wind in the trees and it was a beautiful day, so all in all it turned out okay.

Raccoons, Sea Lions and Canada

We went for a walk on the water front the other day. Here are some of the sights that can be seen from beautiful Port Angeles: Keith and Sport with a sea lion over looking the water, a raccoon down on the rocks by the beach (aren't they suppose to be nocturnal? strange...) and Mason sleeping in the stroller with Canada (and Daddy's work) seen in the distance.
We also walked along the pier and there were huge star fish and a beautiful view of the Olympic Mountains. Our new town is so pretty!!

Little Frog

Mason is really into kicking his feet. They are his new favorite play things. This makes bath time so much more fun (and messy).

Reading

Mason enjoys the crinkly pages and bright colors of this Play with Me book. Before we know it he will be reading "See Spot. See Spot run. Run Spot Run." Our little man is growing way too fast!

I've Finally Mastered It!!

After many months of trying to tame his thumb Mason has finally gotten it to obey. He isn't partial to just thumbs though, any finger that would like to take up residence in his mouth is more than welcome. The other day his left middle finger was his favorite.

New Place

Here's Mason sleeping in his new living room. He loves the big windows that allow him to observe the neighborhood and passing cars.

Moving is Tough

Moving seems to affect the little ones the most. Mason and Melvin were so tired on Packing Day.
