We had a wonderful Christmas this year. We went over to my parents house and spent 5 days. It was great to see everyone and introduce Brenna to the family. Both Mason and Brenna were very spoiled and we were lucky to fit all the gifts into the car for the ride home. Here are just a few pictures (we have so many it's hard to choose...)

Growing Quickly

We took Brenna in on Friday for a check-up. She weighed in at 8lbs 2oz- a pound and an ounce more than she weighed at her 2 day check-up. The nurse was impressed as most babies take up to two weeks to regain their birth weight. She definitely has her Daddy and brother's appetite.

Snow!

We got quite a bit of snow the other day. Keith and Mason spent most of the day outside biking and playing in the snow.

Mason loves to hold Brenna. He is such a great big brother- every time she cries he rushes over to comfort her, he offers her all his toys or whatever he is eating, and recently he has been lifting up his shirt to nurse her.

New Baby Sister

Mason's little sister is here! Brenna Catherine was born December 11th, 2008 exactly 22 months after Mason. Brenna weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces, and measured 21 inches long. She was due on the 6th, but she took her time to get here on the 11th at 9:35 p.m.

We're Ready

Only 4 more days until Brenna's due date! I am so ready to hold her (and to see my feet again)!

Santa?

We tried to take Mason to see Santa, but got the date wrong. No Santa, but there was a pretty cool sand sculpture Christmas Town. We'll have to try another venue to see Santa.

Kick, Kick, Kick

Our little boy is growing up too fast! He has been able to manuver around the pool all on his own for over a month now. He loves swimming and doesn't get upset at all when he gets splashed or dunked under. We had to get him goggles because he wanted to be just like Daddy. Aren't the little flippers cute?
