Woodland Park Zoo

Shae, Kyra, Chloe, Grannie, Mason and I went to the Seattle zoo on Monday. We were there all day and still didn't get to see all of the animals (the zoo is huge!), but we all enjoyed the animals that we did get to see.

The baby gorilla was fascinated with the girls (Mason backed away as soon as he saw him coming) and sat right in front of them for awhile.

The Ocean

We drove out to the ocean on Friday. The day was perfect for a picnic on the beach, with some exploring afterward. This was Mason's first time to the actual ocean (not just the Strait) and he loved walking around and picking up rocks. He was so cute "walking" Sport and tried to do everything Daddy was doing. We all had a great time and will probably return to the ocean soon.

Wiggle Worm

Mason has been taking gymnastics classes at the YMCA. He loves all the mats and rings, but his favorite activity is the balance beam. The whole class is 1 year olds and is a ton of fun to watch.

The Plane

We had the whole row to ourselves on the flight home- yea!! Mason was a really good flyer and even got his first set of captain's wings.

Airport Playland

There was a nice play area in the Minneapolis airport that helped to wear Mason out for our flight home.

4th of July Parade

Kevin took us with him to help throw candy in the 4th of July parade a nearby town was having. This was Mason's first time being in a parade. He loved the candy and only waved when no one was looking at him. We all had a ton of fun riding in the HUGE truck. Thanks Kevin!

Water Fountain

We took the kids to Irvine Park and they had tons of fun in the fountain. Mason wasn't quite ready to run through the water, but loved running around in the dry areas. Preston and Emma weren't afraid to get wet though.

Emma, Sophia, Preston and Mason

Mason finally got to meet and play with all of his Wisconsin cousins. He really enjoyed spending time with them and hopes to see them again soon!

Grandma and Grandpa K

Mason got to spend some quality time with his grandparents while on vacation. We miss you guys already!

Wheels!

Mason was thrilled that there were so many toys (both big and small) that had wheels on our Wisconsin vacation.
