Construction!

This morning the City started digging up the street right in front of our house to replace the old fire hydrant. Mason was enthralled. All morning he watched them, shouting words of encouragement like, "Dig! Dig!" and "Up! Up!" as well as making the best truck noises I've heard.

We went outside so he could get a close up view, but they were a little too intimidating. So, we watched from the window for hours.

The Beach

We took a walk down to the beach while we were camping. Mason had tons of fun wading in the water with Grannie, digging in the sand, and looking at all the treasures we found on the beach.

He didn't have fun when he and Grannie got stuck in the mud and lost their shoes. I am a bad mom who didn't bring him extra clothes, so he had to wear my pink tank top and Grannie's socks on the walk back to the campsite. He looked pretty adorable in his pink sundress though.

Camping

Mason and I went camping with my parents, brother and soon-to-be sister in-law this last weekend. Mason loved digging in the dirt and being the center of attention.

Helping with the Firewood

First Motorcycle

We got Mason a Power Wheel motorcycle at a children's consignment store. He'll ride it around, but mostly he likes posing on it for pictures and checking out the tires.

Walking the Cat

Dexter stays in the umbrella stroller for as long as Mason wants to push him around the yard...

Open Swim

We've taken Mason to open swimming the last couple of weeks. He loves the water. As soon as he jumps in his little legs start kicking. He's pretty good at using the kick board now.

Feeding the Seagulls

Mason really likes all the seagulls down on the Hook. Keith brings home stale bread from the boat and the boys go feed the birds.

Yesterday's War Wounds

Mason's face and knees have learned that concrete is unforgiving. Poor guy! Luckily everything can be made all better with a kiss and Scooby Doo band aid.

Such a Boy

Here are some pictures of Mason playing in the yard yesterday. He loved digging in the dirt and pushing his trucks around.

Hair Cut

Keith and I cut Mason's long locks last night. We think we did a pretty good job considering all the wiggling Mason was doing.

AFTER
This is the best pic I can get this morning since he is racing around the yard...

Puyallup Fair

We took a family outing to the Puyallup Fair yesterday. It was dollar-ride day, so Mason and Keith got to go on a ton of rides. We enjoyed all the fair food- I think cotton candy was Mason's favorite. Though he is still afraid of horses, Mason did get to pet a cow and he loved all the birds. To top the whole day off we got to see a man shot out of a cannon.

Welcome Audrey!

Congratulations Craig, Shelley and Preston on the arrival of their newest family member! Audrey Lynn was born yesterday. She is beautiful guys!! We can't wait to meet her!

Such a Ham!

Every time I get out the camera Mason smiles and poses...

Book Worm

In the past couple of days we have read every one of Mason's books (he has tons of them)! Sometimes he'll let me read them to him, but most of the time he wants to read them on his own. It's really cute because he reads "Go Dog! Go!" for every book.

Pockets

He's just discovered that he can put things in his pockets...
