This morning the City started digging up the street right in front of our house to replace the old fire hydrant. Mason was enthralled. All morning he watched them, shouting words of encouragement like, "Dig! Dig!" and "Up! Up!" as well as making the best truck noises I've heard.
We went outside so he could get a close up view, but they were a little too intimidating. So, we watched from the window for hours.

The Beach
We took a walk down to the beach while we were camping. Mason had tons of fun wading in the water with Grannie, digging in the sand, and looking at all the treasures we found on the beach.
He didn't have fun when he and Grannie got stuck in the mud and lost their shoes. I am a bad mom who didn't bring him extra clothes, so he had to wear my pink tank top and Grannie's socks on the walk back to the campsite. He looked pretty adorable in his pink sundress though.

Hair Cut
Keith and I cut Mason's long locks last night. We think we did a pretty good job considering all the wiggling Mason was doing.
BEFORE
This is the best pic I can get this morning since he is racing around the yard...

Puyallup Fair
We took a family outing to the Puyallup Fair yesterday. It was dollar-ride day, so Mason and Keith got to go on a ton of rides. We enjoyed all the fair food- I think cotton candy was Mason's favorite. Though he is still afraid of horses, Mason did get to pet a cow and he loved all the birds. To top the whole day off we got to see a man shot out of a cannon.
Welcome Audrey!
