I've been having the hardest time finding no-slip socks for Mason. Now that he is trying to walk his regular socks are too slippy for the hardwood floors. Today I bought some puff-paint and decorated the bottom of Mason's socks. According to the Parenting magazine I get this should work (keep your fingers crossed). Here are his new and improved socks...

Very clever idea. I did get some grippy socks at Old Navy for Preston but your home made ones look more fun.
I came across your blog after a valiant Google search for non-skid, grip(py/er), slip guard socks. I feel your pain-- they are very hard to find!
I am intrigued by your idea of using puff paint, and am curious to know if it ended up working well at all? Thanks! :-)
Hey, how'd this work? Very cute! How do they wash? I am having a hard time finding grippy socks in bigger kids sizes.
I am very interested in how these turned out. I am looking to make some for my dad who is slipping all the time and falling!!
Great article as for me. I'd like to read more concerning that matter. Thank you for sharing that data.
