Hike to Lake Angeles...

Keith asked if we wanted to take a hike up to Lake Angeles and have a little picnic along its beautiful shores. I asked him if it was going to be straight up; he said no, so I said let's do it!
The hike is 3.7 miles upwards, and I mean UP. By the time we finally arrived at the lake I was drenched with sweat and felt like I was going to die. The image of a beautiful, clear, mountain lake was replaced by fog. We couldn't see the crystal clear waters, the high cliffs, or the cute little island that Keith swears are there. We quickly ate lunch and hiked back down.

All-in-all it wasn't a horrible trip. The hike down was wonderful since it was all down-hill. And I was reminded of what an amazing man I married. Keith encouraged me all the way up, tolerated our frequent pit stops, and kept Mason entertained the whole trip. He is a terrific daddy and husband, and we are lucky to have him.

So tired!

Mason rushing down to see the lake.

Keith and a bundled up Brenna. It was cold up there!

The lake (or should I say the fog).
